Death, with accompanied grief, is a universal experience, just as is birth. Traditionally, our culture has not known how to deal with the
intense, raw experience of losing a loved one. Just as we are starting to reclaim traditional birth, we are learning new and healthier ways to feel and experience Grief, in the face of death. All human beings will eventually face the loss of a loved friend or family member. As we learn how to express and move through our grief, we role model and teach our children healthier ways of being.
